Three masked men brandishing weapons robbed an amusement arcade in Leigh.
The trio struck at about 10.40am on 27 June 2013 at the Noble Amusement Arcade on Bradshawgate.
Carrying weapons, the gang entered the store through the rear entrance on Gas Street and two of the offenders approached the petrified staff and threatened them.
Fearing they would be attacked, the staff gave the offenders cash and the trio then fled, getting into a small dark blue car parked up at the back of the arcade and driving off towards Chapel Street.
No-one was injured but the staff were badly shaken up.
The offenders are described as wearing balaclavas and dark clothing. Police are now appealing to anyone who has information to come forward.
Detective Constable Lynsey Watson said: “The staff were understandably extremely afraid to be confronted by a gang of masked men carrying weapons.
“Thankfully they were not injured but clearly they had no idea what was going to happen and genuinely feared for their lives.
“We need to trace these dangerous offenders as soon as possible so I would appeal to anyone who has information about this robbery to come forward.
“If you witnessed something or you suspect who may be involved then we need to hear from you.”
Anyone with information should call police on 101 or the independent charity, Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
