PR and digital marketing consultancy, Roland Dransfield, has been appointed to handle PR, content and social media for Boodles Tennis at The Mere, considered to be the North West’s most exclusive summer garden party event.
Vicky Collins, Managing Director of White Events Ltd, founder of Boodles Tennis at The Mere, wanted to increase the event’s profile, support their luxury partners and enhance the experience of guest across the three day event which runs from 21st to 23rd June.
Around 1200 guests are expected over the three days which includes Ladies’ Day, Twilight Tennis and Finals Day in the grounds of The Mere Resort. This is the 5th year the event has been held at The Mere and this year the legends’ roll call will showcase former Grand Slam Winners, Kim Clijsters and Marion Bartoli, alongside well-known faces including Goran Ivanisevic and Xavier Malisse.
With title sponsor being Boodles, other partners include Rolls Royce, Aspalls, Nyetimber, and new comers Oman Air, and Brown Shipley.
The appointment marks Roland Dransfield’s expansion into the sports and hospitality sector alongside clients such as the only premiership rugby union club in the North West, Sale Sharks, and award-winning casual premium dining company, East Coast Concepts which has the Neighbourhood and Victor’s brands.
