Free Business Growth Seminar Coming to Manchester in March

Alexander & Co launches the breakfast networking event as part of a series of seminars to take place

City centre chartered accountant firm Alexander & Co has announced a complimentary breakfast seminar, based around business growth, to take place in Manchester in March.

The event will mark the first in a series of similar seminars to take place, in partnership with Pareto Alexander and Business Growth Hub, and will be a chance for businesses to network over coffee as well as listening to some notable guest speakers.

The first seminar, which is taking place at Barclays Eagle Labs on Albert Square at the end of March, will provide advice on end of year tax planning and an update on key tax changes in the year ahead, with essential tips on available tax reliefs and improving profitability.

John McCaffery, Tax Partner at Alexander & Co explains “We have previously organised similar events specifically for clients, or by request, engaging directly with individual companies. Following positive feedback, we are opening these up to any interested business owners, employees and entrepreneurs, not just clients.

“We are excited to be bringing these events in partnership with Pareto Alexander and The Business Growth Hub. Our combined understanding and experience in business planning and growth will provide attendees with a wide-range of knowledge and insight to help assist their business strategies and growth plans.”

As that the delayed budget from last year was put back to March of 2020, there will be a wide range of topics being discussed.

Alex Savage from Pareto Alexander will be discussing “Are you indispensable? SMEs often have one or two key individuals they rely heavily on for the business to be a success, how can you manage that risk? Alex will also consider the importance of a shareholder agreement, especially in a growing business.
